ObraSaaS: clearer worksite operations, from the team to follow-up

October brings company onboarding, a private CRM, easier schedule navigation, protected photos and operation recovery. WhatsApp preparation advances with explicit permissions and consent.

ObraSaaS update connecting the company, planning, team and worksite evidence

Worksite progress requires more than a dashboard: people with the right access, records that can be reviewed and a clear response when a connection breaks. October's improvements strengthen that daily workflow.

Start with a company and a worksite

The latest ObraSaaS improvements address a practical need: giving management, administration and field teams the same working context. Guided onboarding helps prepare the company, its first worksite and initial tasks. Navigation distinguishes the construction company's workspace from the selected site and keeps actions available according to each person's participation.

Inviting someone, adding them to the team and authorizing a task are different decisions. The platform preserves that separation and improves access recovery when a session or invitation changes. The intended result is a clearer start, with contextual help and fewer steps to find pending work.

Planning and customer relationships

The schedule adds search, filters and pagination tied to the revision being viewed. This helps teams navigate extensive plans while keeping track of the version under review. Changes still require authorization and a record; viewing the schedule does not approve progress.

The construction company's private CRM brings contacts and opportunities into the same workspace. Search covers the available collection and editing works better on smaller screens. When access expires, the interface removes private information. If a save remains unconfirmed, it retains a reference so the result can be checked before another attempt. That continuity also extends to other worksite records.

Field work, photos and purchasing with explicit review

Operational records connect the team, incidents, requests and private photographs. Image preparation provides a more recoverable mobile workflow: a local read can be cancelled or retried without losing the prepared review. QR scanning adds cancellation and recovery when a phone does not offer native detection. Reading a code fills a draft; recording attendance still requires explicit actions and the relevant validation.

Evidence retains its connection to the worksite and its access permissions. A photo or audio recording provides information for review; it does not, on its own, approve identity, attendance or completed quantities. Purchasing becomes clearer too: when a conflict occurs, the current request is retrieved, its conditions are compared and a review is required before continuing. An uncertain submission is recovered through its receipt, without automatically creating another operation.

WhatsApp and a more useful demo

Preparation of each customer's channel includes consent, asset review and recovery states. When a connection is interrupted, sending pauses and the same channel is checked again before restoration. Coexistence with WhatsApp Business App is prepared for eligible cases and depends on authorization and the provider's requirements.

The public website updates its presentation with restrained motion and accessible launch media. The demo opens a navigable example company, with schedule and CRM screens. It helps explain the product using illustrative data; it does not represent a real customer's operations.

What is available and what still needs validation

The improvements are integrated in GitHub and the production deployment contains the same code as the delivery. Automated verification covers workflows and access protection, with desktop and mobile cases. Meta approval, onboarding a real number, actual WhatsApp delivery and acceptance of camera, location and attendance workflows at a worksite remain separate, pending checks.

The sources for this update are the releases covering operations and company experience, channel recovery and the demo and purchasing with recoverable receipts.

The update is integrated and its deployed version contains the same code as the October delivery. The next advance is measured in team and field acceptance as well as software quality.
